Matthew Barrett (PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is Assistant Professor of Christian Studies at California Baptist University (OPS), as well as the founder and executive editor of Credo Magazine. He is the author of The Grace of Godliness: An Introduction to Doctrine and Piety in the Canons of Dort, Salvation by Grace: The Case for Effectual Calling and Regeneration
, as well as the coeditor of Four Views on the Historical Adam (Counterpoints: Bible and Theology), and Whomever He Wills: A Surprising Display of Sovereign Mercy. He is the author of several other forthcoming books, which you can read about at matthewmbarrett.com. He is married to Elizabeth and they have two daughters, Cassandra and Georgia.
Timothy Raymond is an editor for Credo Magazine and has been the pastor of Trinity Baptist Church in Muncie, Indiana since April 2006. He received his MDiv from the Baptist Bible Seminary of Pennsylvania in 2004 and has pursued further education through the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation. Tim grew up outside Syracuse, NY and previously served at Berean Baptist Church, Nicholson, PA (member and teacher during college and seminary) and Calvary Baptist Church, Sandusky, Ohio (seminary internship location). Tim met his wife Bethany at college, and they were married in May 2001. Tim enjoys reading, weight-lifting, wrestling with his three sons, and attempting to sleep.
Matthew Claridge is an editor for Credo Magazine and is Senior Pastor of Mt. Idaho Baptist Church in Grangeville, ID. He has earned degrees from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Cassandra and has two children, Alec and Nora.
Chris Cooper is book review editor for Credo Magazine and is a Ph.D. candidate in historical theology at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Chris is married to Jessica and they have one son, Will. Chris is a member of Clifton Baptist Church, Louisville, KY.
Elizabeth Barrett (B.A., Biola University) is the Design Director of Credo Magazine. She is married to Matthew and they have two daughters, Cassandra and Georgia.

Gary Steward is an editor for Credo Magazine. He served as pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada from 2004-2011. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Church History and Historical Theology at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He received his Th.M in Historical Theology from Westminster Theological Seminary (PA), where his thesis focused on J. W. Alexander and his views on Christian social reform. He coauthored a curriculum for youth on biblical manhood and womanhood with Children Desiring God, entitled Rejoicing in God’s Good Design, and he is the author of a forthcoming book from P&R, called Old Princeton: A Guided Tour of Its Leading Men and Their Writings. Gary grew up in rural South Dakota, and he and his wife Amy have three children: Anna (7), Katie (4), and Joshua (1).
Adrian Martinez is the Graphic Design Editor for Credo Magazine. He received his B.A. in Visual Arts from California Baptist University in 2007. He is the Director of Music and Worship at First Baptist Church of Norco and also teaches Art, Music, and Film courses at Riverside Christian High School. He is married to Sarah and they have one son, Jack.
Lucas Bradburn is assistant book review editor for Credo Magazine. He is an M.Div. student at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
