1. Forget Regret: By Barry Cooper – Cooper says: “If there is repenting to be done, repent. But then set the chrysalis aside. Look up. Take your place in wonder alongside Joseph’s brothers, and with the rest of God’s people. Know that you did not fall between the cracks of your own life. Nothing in your past, present, or future can separate you from the love of Christ.”

2. So You Want To Be a Doctor?: By Mark Jones – Jones notes: “The pursuit of the PhD has the potential to be a significant blessing to the church. But there are many dangers involved. For all of the ‘success’ stories we see (published Pastor-scholars writing good stuff) there are many who have not been so lucky. Sometimes they have been providentially hindered; but at other times, I regret to say, they have been foolish.”

3. Married To Darwin: By Marvin Olasky – Olasky says: “If for the sake of the children we can’t give up Darwin, and if by doing so the kids don’t turn their backs on the Bible, they have a Bible with lots of pages torn out and its overarching theme—creation, fall, and redemption—slashed. If we jettison Genesis, Jesus who made miracles will eventually go too.”

4. The Great Commission Means Sharing Christ’s Story, Not Yours: By Trevin Wax – Wax says: “An evangelist who speaks only of his personal experience with Jesus may be surprised to encounter others who speak just as genuinely of their personal experiences in Islam, Buddhism, or Hinduism. The initial desire to speak of what one has experienced personally may run into the rocks of multiculturalism, leading to a neutered presentation of the gospel that loses its basis in historical reality.”

5. 10 Feelings Women Struggle With: By David Murray– Murray notes: “That’s where I found the most benefit; the book not only heightened my awareness of these spiritual battles, but also showed me how to better serve those fighting them. As such, I hope it has made me a better husband, a better father of my two daughters, and a better pastor to the Christian women I am privileged to pastor.”
